School Site Council
School Site Councils (SSCs) in California exist to ensure that schools engage parents, teachers, and staff in the decision-making process regarding the use of state and federal funds. Their primary role is to develop, review, and update the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), which outlines how funds will support specific academic goals to improve student outcomes. The SSC ensures the SPSA aligns with the school’s data and priorities, reflecting a collaborative effort to address the needs of all students. By law, the SSC serves as a critical link between the school and its community, fostering transparency and accountability in resource allocation.
The School Site Council / Schoolwide Advisory Committee meetings are open to the public. We meet from 6:00-7:00 pm on the dates listed below via Zoom. The Site Council meetings have a portion allotted to them for public comment. If you want to make public comment, please raise your hand and you will be allotted three minutes for public comment on items not on the agenda. The zoom link for each meeting is on the meeting agenda.
